A beautiful pearl necklace

I do have several necklaces with one pearl set in a pendant with other stones but I didn't have a full pearl necklace. So when I saw this offered as an Amazon Lightning Deal recently I decided to buy it.



When I received it I was very pleased with the quality size and luster of the pearls. I looked closely and I wasn't able to see any imperfections with my naked eye. The clasp used is made with sterling silver and very secure. I've played around with several different ways to wear this length and so far I like the way it looks wrapped twice with one length hanging slightly lower than the other. (I added a picture to the customer images) It's also nice wrapped three times (choker style) but I probably wouldn't use that style except with maybe a strapless dress because the look is very eye-catching.



I'm not entirely sure that this the best deal available here on Amazon. I do like the consistent quality I receive from the Amazon.com Collection and for me the price was right. I also know that if I were to have received this as a gift I would have been very happy and for me that's all that matters.More detail ...

The pendant is very nice. It's not too small (sometimes pictures are blown up so big that it looks like something totally different than what you end up getting delivered to you but this one looks exactly as shown on the picture). The only reason why I gave it four stars instead of the total five is because the chain is so dainty. I understand it's only 10K gold but I've seen silver that was nicer. I bought a different 10K white gold chain to replace the one that comes with the pendant because it looked like the chain would fall apart if I just touch it. Perfect size and diamonds but panda head a little too awkward for me

Because of various buyer reviews I'd expected the pendant to be smaller... But it turned out to be just the right size almost an inch. It's big enough that the diamonds catch the light and sparkle. I'm sad to have to return it though because it doesn't look good on my tanned skin and because the head was shaped a little differently from what it looks like on the website. I don't like the clasp at the back... If you are buying this just be aware that the head seems slanted at an angle because of the clasp. Beautiful pendant

This is a gorgeous pendant! The color of the blue topaz is a little bit deeper than the picture shown (more of a clear royal blue than sky blue though in darker lighting they can appear a clear navy!). The necklace comes with a delicate chain which goes with the pendant well because the chain doesn't attract attention to itself. But if you're concerned the pendant has a really big bail so you can easily change the chain to suit your needs.



And from what I gathered online "coated blue topaz" is to describe the technique used to get the blue color into the stones. This technique is different from the traditional way to getting the topaz blue.
